First these idiots and later stupid disney ruins boys don't cry... yet, I can't decide if this is worse than the peter punk deformed boys don't cry or if the other is worse... at the least the other reminds of the original song... but... shitty... meh, both should had never seen the light.

I think the key thing here is that they completely changed the song and made it their own, rather than just transcribing it onto their own instruments. You want a Futureheads cover of The Lovecats to sound like The Futureheads not like the Cure because that's what the original's for.

this is one of the few songs on the album that doesnt patronize the cure by trying to make the song sounds dark and depressing like the cure are supposedly (even tho there one of the most feelgood bands i know).

personally i think its the best cover on the album. they really made it their own song. if i hadnt read the title i wouldnt of guessed it was the same song. its completely different :D
