I was adopted when I was 3, after years of wondering, I finally got the call I had waited so long for,it was my big brother. I had not spoken to him in 25 years! July of last year he moved from Boston to Oklahoma to be close. That day was one of the best days ever! I was able to hug my big brother after being apart for 31 years. The first time I heard this song was the night of that first phone call. Talk about timing! I still cry when I hear this song! Still as relevant today as it was then!

@reverb478 they were not looked over so much, they had air play all summer and more when this was released, they just didnt come up with anything else that got honorable mention, but everyone remembers this song..

My brother is 13 years older than me and i have not seen him in almost 12 years. I began sending him letters not long ago, and today i traveled 3 hours to the correctional facility he resides at near texarkana. I burned this song before i left and had it on repeat for most of the trip......i will never forget our emotional hug after so many years,...and this song is for him. I love you Steve, i will always be here for you bubba......... love your baby sister...
