In a big blow to India's Naval power, the Defence Ministry has failed to arrive at a decision on placing orders for the construction of a second line of Scorpene submarines...this, even as the Navy's underwater fighting capabilities face a threat brought on by dwindling fleet strength.

  • France producing scorpene subs very slowly or our government not giving france money in time causing further delay. These french subs will give us big advantage over GOOK navy. Maybe india should buy new subs from USA, UK if france been lazy. France produces quality products, for some reason they are slow this time. Our kilo subs will need mods from israel.

  • wtf,,,these bloody politicians are keep delaying these projacts,,who tell these corrupt politicans that luk at china,,they got 62 subrines,,,we are no where near to them,.we need to acquire and produce more subs,,,and there is more requirement for expantion of navy,,,instead of air force and army,,,,,,beacause in navy's capabilty we lack behind,
