  • I think your poems better. It made me laugh so much

  • I'm reading your poems. They are amazing! Write more. What a beautiful, truthful spirit you have. I think you would have loved being in Boulder, Colorado in the 70's when Allen Ginsberg was head of the School for Disembodied Poetics at Naropa Institute. I loved Allen. He was fun and terribly interesting. He let me do an apprenticeship with him when I wrote why I wanted do--I told him I'd been married to an old fag. Enjoy yourself. Ida

  • Soon. I have been in Colorado and will be back home today. My son-in-law gets the New York Times and there has been good coverage of 'Our Generation,' the CD of the Zimmers. When is your next poem coming along? Best wishes.

  • I just read this, and I want to share it with you. . . By: Charlie Daniels: A brief candle; both ends burning An endless mile; a bus wheel turning A friend to share the lonesome times A handshake and a sip of wine So say it loud and let it ring We are all a part of everything The future, present and the past Fly on proud bird You're free at last. written en route to a funeral.
  • I like that.

Over this your white grave coveredcovered for years, there is a stir in the air, something uplifting and, like death, beyond comprehension. Over this your white grave og, mother, can such loving cease? for all his fillial adoration a prayer. Give her eternal peace. (Written by Karol Wojtyla, - otherwise, John Paul II)
