Hey morons, Texas A&M band is a military style marching band. That means they will play march music and march in such a fashion as well.
Each school has a different style. Stop talking shit and just enjoy. You won't like this band if you don't like military march.

Yes...they do indeed do what they do VERY WELL. But it is also indeed VERY EASY. And their music? "Them Basses"? C'mon...most high school bands can play that no problem. Listen to their music, then listen to the "Pride of Oklahoma." You'll tell the difference...both in their music and their drill. But they are fun to watch!

One of the BEST views of The Fighting Texas Aggie Band on YouTube. It is the dedication to the Band--hours per day of practice and drills--all while still having to attend classes. No free ride here. GIG 'EM AGGIES!

DCI shows take months to prepare. The Texas Aggie Band marches a completely different drill at each football game - one week apart. How complex would DCI be if their contests were one week apart and each drill was completely different?
The Aggie Band is limited to standard military drill movements - no running sideways like DCI. No twirling cymbals. No flags. No props. No dancing. The two styles are no comparable.
Both types of performances take skill and dedication.

right on phantommp5. These people don't know what awesome is. The faggie band is nothing impressive. It doesn't take much to follow the leader and do double right faces. But then again, the dumb aggie fan base are all morons, share the same brain, and it doesn't take much to impress them.
Go look up "Best 2010 DCI Moments" and get a little culture.

They're ok. If you want to see complex marching, look up Blue Devils Drum & Bugle Corps. Also, Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps. Also Santa Clara Vanguard. No offense to Texas A&M, just that the show is very simplistic. Not that it's bad, just not "great."
