What company did you use? I want to study abroad even though I'm still in high school! I thought it over a lot and realized it's something I really want to do. Any suggestions in telling my parents? I was thinking I could do a slide show and present it to them showing I am very serious about this. Good idea?

Thanks for the tips! I leave for Australia in 3 weeks so I think I'm going to start packing next week :) Did you go to the Great Barrier Reef while you were there? Any tips on what to do in Cairns? Or Brisbane if you went there?

Thanks for the tips! I'm going to Argentina next March, though when I go there it will be their summer/fall-ish time. I'm not going to be doing fieldwork though as I'm studying Spanish there. The hair straightener tip was a good idea. I forgot the outlets will be different! Question: for health/beauty care items (like face wash and moisturizer) did you buy it in Australia or take it with you?

@wordpainter320 I brought travel size bottles with me on the plane of products like that, and then bought larger bottles once I was there. Big bottles are heavy, take up space, and will need to be checked. Take small, travel size regulation bottles with you (you'll definitely want to wash your face on the plane and once you land!) in your carry on. Good luck in Argentina!
