the problem is from time to time some relgious fanatics bother to post insults here...and the arguing starts again. They are so full of hatred.

The issue is not to do with anyone's choice of religion but their motivations for choosing. Whether choosing atheism, agnosticism or theism, it makes no difference if one is living in denial to minimize one's exposure to fear and shame. That decision doesn't matter because a fear-based atheist, agnostic and theist all just want the same thing: to escape their fears.

Once you're free of whatever issues caused you to see the world improperly, it doesn't matter what group you choose.

opinions: to each, their own. argue not of points when there is none. belief, fact, understanding, a mystery, the unknown... There are so many facets of life, and some thought patterns/belief structures work better to frame the ideas of particular minds. We are all too unique for any one idea to appeal to us as a whole.

"I have explored several religions"

You missed the point of religion. Belief isnt something you wear and then throw away like a sock, if you dont have the faith, you dont believe you arent religious at all.

Ah I see. So athiesm is couragous in not believing? Maybe you are the coward in being unable to admit this question is beyond your ability. You are no different than the religious believers as your belief is not believing. I don't need to entertain all the possiblities, especially the fantasy you brought forth. If you want to entertain fairies are real be my guest, bring proof. They are not relevant. Until they bring proof I can ignore it. If you want to hate an idea be my guest.

For me it has nothing to do with not running with a herd. For me it is simply to explore all possibilities of the earths start and finish. I have explored several religions and none of them have provided an adequate and intelligent explanation.
