  • Aida is an opera in four acts by Giuseppe Verdi, libretto by Antonio Ghislanzoni, composed for the inauguration of the Suez Canal, its release was 24 December 1871 in the Opera House El Cairo.

With Aida, Verdi approached the genre of Grand Opera, spectacular work of great scenic display (large choruses and scenes, special effects.

A detail: the crown of Amneris was gold Amneris and weapons of massive silver Radames.

    Thanks !!! *phalenopsis1 * for sharing !
