This short two minute film is a time-lapse of a 30 minute hatch for a Brahma X chick. I started filming as soon as the zipping of the egg had stopped and the chick started it's first kick. The incubator is a Brinsea Mini Advance. Full hatch blog entry here http://bellebouche.com/blog/?p=1126
Do you know, if you see a chick hatching, do never help it by removing the shell, :) really cool video

This is AWESOME. We are incubating eggs in our science class and I can't wait to see them hatch!

im contemplating the idea of hatching some peking ducks but i have no idea how to hatch eggs. I know that the temperature and humidity requirements are vital but I dont know how to go about making an incubator. (I want to build an incubator myself.) Where do I start, and are there any good books that I can go get to read up on this?
