One of the most mysterious conditions of modern times is fibromyalgia. This condition, which primarily affects women, still baffles many doctors and medical researchers. Fibromyalgia has been identified by our research center as being a condition wherein excess toxins build up in the soft tissues of the body, causing the pain and other symptoms associated with fibromyalgia. One of the most effective natural substances for helping insomnia in fibromyalgia is 5-hydroxy tryptophan (5-HTP). Natural alternatives for managing fibromyalgia must include agents that detoxify the build-up of toxins in the soft tissues of the body. Since the cause of fibromyalgia is not yet fully known, it is important to approach it, at least in the beginning, from a total detoxification program. We use two methods of detoxification, one cellular, which utilizes liquid oxygen to remove toxins from the cells and a systemic detox, which places emphasis upon the organs of elimination, including the liver, kidneys, bowel, bladder and colon. Detoxification often produces a rapid cessation of pain and other symptoms associated with fibromyalgia. Through the use of aggressive detoxification, we can prepare the body for an ongoing maintenance program using our new formula called Fibro Eze. This formula uses 5 hydroxy tryptophan (5-HTP) along with other key nutrients, to address many of the most common symptoms of fibromyalgia. 5 hydroxy tryptophan (5-HTP) safely and effectively replaces drugs such as SSRI's and anti-anxiety medications and has no side effects. The formula we have developed, containing these key ingredients is available from Phoenix Nutritionals at 1-800-440-2390. You can also visit the Phoenix Nutritionals website at www.phoenixnutritionals.com. If you have any questions concerning this mysterious condition or our program you can always contact our offices at 1-888-454-8464, but formula information is also available from Phoenix Nutritionals. When you contact Phoenix Nutritionals be sure and ask them about their Fibromyalgia kit, which contains everything you will need to start the complete program. We are familiar with he Guaifenesen Protocol. Since the exact cause of fibromyalgia still eludes science, we must approach this condition with some trial and error. This process has brought about a variety of support programs for managing the side effects of fibromyalgia. Alternative fibromyalgia treatments include exercise, special diet restrictions, and key supplements. I have found that exercise is indeed important in the overall picture but many of the recommended dietary restrictions have proven very ineffective. Natural supplements for supporting the fibromyalgia sufferer are many and we will discuss them below. One subject that I do wish to discuss is the use of cough syrup and fibromyalgia or more specifically the active ingredient in cough syrup, guaifenesin. The action of guaifenesin on brain activity is not completely clear, but is seems to produce a reduction in the pain and discomfort of fibromyalgia. Unfortunately, the continued and over-use of cough syrup for fibromyalgia is not the best way to manage the condition. Guaifenesin can produce a host of side effects and it also must be considered that over time, cough syrup us for fibromyalgia can lead to dependency and even become habit forming. As you will see below, there are other options that we feel are far more effective as safer for those managing chronic fibromyalgia. We do highly advocate the use of regular exercise for fibromyalgia. The key is to find a program that allows for full range of motion but does not over-work the soft tissues. Mild resistance exercise with emphasis on cardiovascular toning seems to be the ideal form of exercise for fibromyalgia sufferers.

  • The constant fatigue and lethargy gets me down more than anything else, being a creative person, which triggers and makes worse the depression side of things. Just watching the days of my life drifting away.

  • This is the first program that I have tried for my fibromyalgia that really has helped. The detoxification part seemed to provide my body with the boost it needed. I have been able to cut my various medications down by more than half and it's only been two months. I am looking forward to ongoing benefits from these formulas and would really like to thank the Institute of Nutritional Science for developing this program for us ~ Renee L.

  • Doctors are trying to understand this condition. For the patient it is very frustrating. I want to testify that I am a recovered fibromyalgic who know this disease from the inside and back out again. Just because doctors are not able to cure doesn't mean there is no cure. Do not let failed hope discourage you. Never give up. You can get well again!!!
