4.10 was not a viable factory axle ratio. 3.54 standard with 4 speed, 3.15 or 3.91 optional. Go-Pack stripes were NEVER available in blue. Red, White or Black. Nice car, but it's definitely been personalized.

the most interesting thing about these 1968-70 AMX's is the fact, they are the only other America made 2 seat sports car,other then the corvette,which he failed to mention.prices are all over the place,so be careful when buying one,watch for rust outs with 100 lbs of bondo,look at the bottom of the doors,inner fenders,quarters

To me the AMC V8s have a disctint. The best sounding V8 in my opinion. There's a cool vid of Craig Breedlove testing a 68 AMX. That bone stock amx broke and set speed records and averaged almost 150 mph for 24 hours. AMC really showed the world how an independent auto maker can make great cars. Unfortunately they didn't survive but people are coming around to the awesomness of AMC.
