Let's play a game similar to La-Mulana or Maze of Galious!
This game is made by Buster, who is awesome! http://hp.vector.co.jp/authors/VA025956/
Get the game from here: http://www.vector.co.jp/download/file/win95/game/fh549490.html (New version 1.03!)
And if you're interested in playing the game yourself without too many spoilers, I recommend watching until I get the bell, do that yourself, and then stop watching and play it on your own!

  • Your voice sounds very similar to Taco-man's voice, nice video by the way (sorry for my bad english, i'm chilean).

  • @live43v3r Who is Taco-man?

  • Ugh! La-Mulanites, you broke the download link with your excessive downloading! Hopefully it is fixed soon, and then I will fix the link.

  • Thanks for sharing another great game with us, I doubt I ever would've heard of it without you.

  • @Limehunter7 They're gonna have to direct message you, because if they post spoilers to it here, I'll beat them.

  • Hydra Castle Labyrinth was recently fully translated into English last month. I remember reading an article around that time from The Independent Gaming Source. So now more people can actually read the item descriptions!

  • How long did it take for you to finish this game, DC? Just trying to gauge how long it would normally take. I think that the Wing Boots (double jump) and the Chime / Bell (indicates secrets in an area) make things pretty easy. Started playing this yesterday, around 18:30 in my time zone, and got to the final area by about 22:00 or so. I think that the lack of numbering on the dungeon doors makes it easy to get lost without a map.

  • @DeceasedCrab He's an animated taco on the Ebolaworld channel. He's been around since 2004 in such. One of my favorite videos from them is actually a interactive remake of Night Trap over on Newgrounds, where Taco-man is Dana Plato's character, awkward enough. There's also the Snowy series, where Frosty the Snowman is a murderer that keeps coming back in ways parodying classic horror villains.

  • Old school gameplay with relatively more modern graphics. Nice.

  • Wow, the bat noise sounds like the one from La-Mulana! Yet another similarity!

  • wow you're frighteningly enthusiastic : (

  • @dudesk099

What? I got the double jump shoes as my first item in this game... and on my first try for that matter. It just takes some patience and timing. At least I always jumped down to the platform below while hitting the third statue and that seemed to be the winning formula.

  • I am loving this music! It's so energetic
