This is the easiest and best tasting cheesecake brownie ever. The brownie and the cheesecake mixture are marbled together and baked at the same time. Nobody will believe that it is almost from scratch and will be asking for more.
Recipe is as follows:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Grease 13x9x2 cake pan and lightly dust with flour
Blend one box of Duncan Hines Brownie mix, 1/2 cup vegetable oil, 1/4 cup water, 3 eggs, and 1 tsp. vanilla extract in a large bowl. Stir for 50 strokes until blended. Pour into pan and set aside.
Soften one 8 oz. block of cream cheese and beat with a mixer at medium speed until fluffy.
Add 1/2 cup sugar, 1 egg and 1 tsp. vanilla extract. Beat together until blended about 1 minute.
Pour cream cheese over brownie mix and swirl with a spatula or knife to create a marbled effect.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool and cut into serving pieces.
Enjoy!

  • Try making this with strawberry cream cheese. You might like it. The swirls will become pink and chocolate. It is a matter of taste and preference.

  • the vanilla extract added to the cream cheese makes makes a difference. It you do want to omit the vanilla extract to the brownie batter, you can do that, but make sure to add it to the cream cheese mixture.
