Jimmy and Kristy Mcnichol received a lot of criticism about their singing/music back in the day. Shame on them! I think Kristy has a wonderful voice...nice tone, decent pitch and most importantly her phrasing is bang on!

They looked so alike but I still think Kristy was much coooooler, hehe :) Had this poster when I was very little, I thought it was better than my sister's Leif Garrett, hahaha

You know what. Why do I always find out about the hottest chiks from the 80s or whatever. Intill they are old. But shes my romodel still. I wanna be born in the 80s :(

Cherry pop records should reissue this classic album!!!

I had a copy of this song on a 45-rpm record, and once by accident I played it at the wrong speed (33-1/3 RPM)--the effect was eerie in many ways. (Somebody has actually posted on YouTube Wanda Jackson's recording of "Funnel of Love" played at the wrong speed, which gives a similar effect for the listener.)

Kristy Mcnichol: you were my first real love

Oh! Just hearing her voice makes me feel unreal!! If it's possible, I think I'm in love with a person I've never even met, btw, I'm 13

Listen for great music like this on a new radio station called "OffTheCharts" - featuring 70's (and some 80's) lost hits and chart wonders!
Go to Live365.com, type OFFTHECHARTS in the Search box and click on the station logo. The audio stream should begin. Become a VIP member and listen commercial free!
This song is being featured this week!

Her brother looks like a girl and she looks like a boy. She was still hot as fuck though.

Thanks.Thanks.Thanks......tooooo.much.....:)
I have this recorded album, too. But unfortunately,I can't listen to it as clear sound. "Slow Dance" is also nice, isn't it?
Anyway, I'm very very moved and remember the old days. Arigatou gozaimashita.

Not much of a video, but Kristy sure sounds great.

Its not meant to be a "video" in the ordinary sense, it's using Youtube as a radio station or a record player. You can go to Youtube to hear your favorite (Kristy & Jimmy McNichol) songs anytime you like; the artwork is what you would be looking at if you had played the actual 45. Different concept - but I think it works. Besides, where else can you hear this album since it is not available on CD?
