agreed 100% in one set alone I could be using maybe 5 or 6 different tunings and rather than buying 6 SG's or Explorer's or LP's that all have to be set up for different tunings (if you want to stay in tune and have the right amount of tension on your necks) the robots are the answer.

all you guys saying that robot guitars suck...
1. it's not meant to replace your hands and ears, it opens paths... this guitar will let you do complicated tuning changes in a few seconds, you don't have to switch guitars in a gig.
2. this whole "make more traditional guitars" is ridiculous. There are plenty of traditional instruments for you + remember that 45 years ago, people were nagging about electric guitars... well you guys aren't much different;)

@Marco01Antonio Obvious fanboy is obvious. They have different sounds, and are therefore used for different things. Personally, I dislike Fender, but that doesn't mean that I think that Gibson is the greatest brand ever.
