Align Trex500CF ~ Pilot: Ian Contessa

Hey All. Ok, here is the first video of my new set of models. It's only a short one so I shall call it a teaser of whats to come. The model is only on it's 2nd flight, it's really windy yet sunny and I am really enjoying the machine! Roll on the next videos!

just to say my trex 500 is working fine, and is in good shape with a new torque tube, improves autorotations a lot! how is yours going? thanks.

Hey Dude, Ah cool, I'm glad your getting on with yours as well. Me? I love mine still, it's an awesome little machine which gets used & abused! I have crashed it once :-/, touched skids on the ground and popped up and flipped over too low and caught blades..... oops. All going again now though. Still usign belt on mine, feel the survivability of a belt is still worht having but would love less drag in the auto's so may change soon. Chat soon. Ian

Hey Dude. Thanks for compliment. I'm hoping to get a lot more up on the site soon as I am now settling in with the new models now & getting more daring with them. I'm planning on doing a full video from start to end next time, hopefully with more favourable weather conditions. Well, I'm so pleased to see your new Trex 500 and can't wait for other videos of your Trex 600 and 500, I never like flying my heli wind also I have sold my GL450se like you and my blade 400, all gone and sold, got £200 for both, I kept my dx6i though, I saved the money to get a new iphone 3g, lol.

Hello Mate. I'm loving them, such nice flying models & so responsive to. I must admit to not being 100% up for flying in major high winds myself as it's not worth risking the models, but I was desperate to fly my new models & so just had to go out there ;-) Ah you sold the GL yeah? Shame you had to but when you like gadgets you got to decide what to keep & what to sell to help fund new things. Ian

ouch, unlucky about that mate, trust me, with the torque tube, there is a whole lot of difference, its very good, how is your spartan ds760 gyro going? thanks. By the way, luckily I have not crashed mine yet but I don't abuse mine as much as yours, lol :)

he he, thats for sure, glad your trex 500 is good, I hoped I would get a bit more for both helis but hey, o well, thats all i got, anyway, I have got a torque tube on my trex 500 which is good, I would recommend it, thanks.
