Department of Plant Biology and Plant Biotechnology (previously called as Department of Botany), Madras Christian College, established in 1937 is completing 75 years of valuable service. As a part of this celebration the present staff and students of this department organized a meeting on 14th September, 2011, to felicitate Dr.S. Crispin Devadas, who has contributed a lot to the development of the department. Clippings recorded on that day are uploaded here in a series for the benefit of all who have worked/graduated from this department.In this part Mr.Leslie Lawrence felicitates Dr. S.
