Bobby is not fat! He is a dwarf. The only pure breed of dog that is offically classified as a dwarf in the dog world.
He has a normal size body for a medium size dog, but short (dwarfed) legs. Corgis have been like that since the 10th century when the Danes were said to have brought them to Wales. They are used as sheep dogs and for herding cattle.
Their ancestors are surmised to be Pomeranian, Keesh Hound, and Spitz.

Sadly, they can't get married in California now. But, maybe someday soon. :(
Still, they really love each other and they have been together for four years. They take walks together every day. (SEE MOVIE CLIP IN THE VIDEO RESPONSES -- I linked to it here).

Well, that...and they're both male. We're taking them to Katmandu next Summer to get hitched. :)
