Colt Trooper Mk III Review

I had to go deep in the vault for the Colt Trooper Mk III review. A pistol I have had for many years, and shot very little. A beautiful example of Colt craftsmanship and quality. The Trooper is the baby brother of the Python family, built to the same standards. how do you tell when your particular gun was manufactured? i have 2 of these troopers, one very old and a newer model.

@dicktomoshimasu I never had the desire to look it up, I bought this one new in the mid '70's...I a sure the records are available somewhere!

It's sad that Colt's on its last legs and doesn't make revolvers anymore either.

@preppervseconomy I agree. The sad fact is that mismanagement and not keeping up with industry changes has cost the shooting community a great company!

This is no way a Python wannabe! Maybe the Trooper Mark 5, as it has the vented barrel, or the King Corba

Ive got the exact same gun! Would not trade it for anything!
