  • On the contrary, you acutally looked at the music you will realise he is correct and everyone else is underpedaled

  • I take 13 minutes over this piece in my own concert performances, and it was interesting for me to hear that you can create a convincing performance at a faster tempo. But I really don't think you should change Liszt's right hand octaves into chords at 6:09 - it sounds so much more tragic and lamenting played as simple octaves. I would have liked you to take more time in places (such as at the pauses at 7:54 and 8:56). But your commitment to Liszt comes across clearly. I enjoyed your playing!

  • There's no heart in this performance. The performer just goes through the paces. He could take a hint from BrucknerEnthusiast by slowing down in some of the lyrical sections. The best I've heard is Rubinstein. Horowitz has to drop a set of octaves because he goes too fast, even for himself!

  • Overpedaled.
