@1973heaven haha right? I was thinking the exact same. Like seriously?! Lol

O.k. so you say "Don't try this at home" and that only a licensed propositional can do this and not mess up the hair..... BUT YOU MAKE A HOW TO VIDEO AND POST IT HERE WHERE EVERYONE CAN SEE IT!!!!!!!!! DUH!!!!!!!! I'm so sure that every one that is not licensed is NOT going to DARE try this at home....

I *LOVE* the way you did this!!!! I'm a cosmetology student; I'm totally gonna try that on my barbies head! *LOVE LOVE LOVE*
I dig the green foils too...I'm totally gonna check into those

so if a client comes in just to retouch the base color or change the base color how would you do that? also... how do you do both steps in one process...such as a client wanting a new base color and lighter ends... how do you foil that?

ok so im a student & i want to try this on my mannequin. but i want to know if i should follow the same procedure to color the hair all around. also if it works with hair that has lots of layers. & how long should i leave it on..

I also want to know if you stop midway, or do you continue all the way to the top of the head?? And do you do the back the same way????
Btw I appreciate you letting the public know this is a technique for professionals :)

@Jshelly96 i know because if some who is not licensed professional tried this, it would be a hugh mess and expensive to fix.

Thank you for this imfo! The explanation and demonstration were perfect. I've been a stylist for 13 years and I have my first ombre client tomorrow. The only thing I wonder is : do you still apply this technique to very thick long as well as wavy hair and if so approx how many foils would you end up with in a dense head of hair?

@Jshelly96 thank you for the question, with curly hair i prefer to do this by selecting curls and creating an ombré within the curl, not sections like we do with straight our wavy hair. remember though is someone has curly hair and blows it straight, consider it straight. it is not the natural texture that would determine the strand selection and placement it is the style they wear their hair.
