The versatile and fun Ocean Drum from Remo produces a variety of sounds when played different ways. It comes in three sizes, 12", 16", and 22". It is a frame drum with two heads, one Fiberskyn, the other side Mylar, with many steel pellets in between that make this drum unique. You can create the swelling sounds of the ocean and waves, but this fantastic drum can be played as a frame drum as well, and can sound like bendir or daf, or can also be simply shaken. Experiment with yours!

  • Is this instrument the one in the link? Because the link doesn't identify it as being one of Remo's Ocean line. I'm looking to buy this thing.

  • @CybermancerJ Sorry about that, the link has been updated now. In stock now.

  • are the pellets removable?

  • @almannusrat Sorry the pellets are not removable.

  • Impressive

  • I want to get 2, 3, or more raindrums and tars in various sizes to use in my drumkit...Playing them with sticks should be okay, as long as I don't bash them as hard as a standard drum, right? Or is it "NO STANDARD DRUMSTICKS ALLOWED"? lol...thx to anyone who cares to answer that.

  • im gonna buy one! my new fav drum since the cajon

  • A strange yet beutifull instrument
