  • I am sorry. I just got dvx100b 4 day ago. What is M2 and letus you guys talking about?

  • The M2 and the Letus35 are 35mm lens adapters. When you have a lens adapter you can use 35mm camera lenses on your dvx in order to achieve greater depth of filed.

  • I really should remove this video. It was not setup correctly at all. I just finaly got the M2 set up correctly this week. STRAIGHT, 100% on the Macro Lens, Oh My God, what a differnece it makes. I finaly have a Sweet Spot. The sharpness is so much better.

  • can you shoot with thh dvx100b squeeze mode and NOT get the letterbox black lines when importing the footage into a 16:9 project in premiere pro? I want to get this camera but the black lines to give you a fake 16:9 is putting me off :( Thanks

  • Shoot in 4x3 then apply a 16X9 White Mask to your video in Premiere.

  • maybe this is just the wide angle lens, but it seems to distort on the sides ..

I kind of like the gritty look of the letus better

  • You are absolutely correct. I found out after a few more attempts at setup that my Back-Focus was incorrect. My footage now has no Barrel Distortion.

Thanks for checking out my video tests.

  • I have a dvx 100B with a leica lens on it and I am wondering, does the letus go right on that lens and then I put another 35 mm lens on the adapter or is there some way to take the leica off and put the adapter on the camera and the lens back on the letus? New to this and hope you can help?

  • so the lens you have to buy apart from the m2 adapter? what kind of 35mm lens can it use? canon?

  • yeah that won't work either... you're just losing resolution on your project... not letting the viewer see what you've done for the sake of a "cinematic effect"

  • I honestly liked the Letus test better. Your Letus test video has convinced me to buy one. This still looks great, though.
