I don't think this ending was provided by Liszt to this particular version. True, Liszt made other versions of such pieces as his Liebestraume in Ab (3 different versions in fact, if my memory serves me right). Hamelin must have applied artistic liberty to use an ending in another version. Anyway, even Beethoven makes his own cadenzas for Mozart's concertos. Nonetheless, this is the first ever true romantic piece that I ever heard played by Hamelin in old school fashion. Bravissimo.

@TheIfsProduct Liszt provided an alternate ending to the piece. I suppose it's up to the performer which they choose. You should be able to find the version with both on IMSLP.
