Yea probably a bit like the chris you get to know the local area vehicles first once you know them you automatically remember othe truck for silly reason i live down south and im pretty good on my auckland christchurch and Northern trucks im not to rusty on my southern ambos either.

inbrisbane there was o truck crash on a over head off ramp on the riverside express and it was closed for a week due to damage.how did you know about the crash?

And I'm thoroughly ashamed of myself... There's an ancient Daihatsu and a Bedford van I've seen around, but its too hard to tell from behind. I'll make sure I check next time, LOL!

Nah, no connection other than knowing/being related to a few ex-firefighters. I just take my fire-buffing and photography seriously. Besides, there's enough info out there on the net that you can sound like you now what you're talkig about when you haven't really got a clue! XD

Thanks, LOL, you could totally see it coming! The cones were in the shadows, and the drivers were all looking ahead at the flashing lights or at the cars directly in front of them. So I set the camera running, and only had to wait a few seconds for the inevitable to happen. You can see why there's so many accidents there.
