music by Maurizio Fabrizio. Performed, produced, shot and edited by Giulio Carmassi.
My friend Nena Black told me about this new album by Italian super star singer MINA, and I immediately fell in love with this particular tune from the album (the album's called "Piccolino").
Yesterday night i came home late after a bone in double eagle steak and a mountain of banana bread pudding, and i decided to give it a try just sax and piano. Just one take each.
Hope you enjoy!
and for the geeks:
the sax is a Yani 991 with a SAXZ 1950 Hard Rubber mouthpiece (8) with a LaVoz medium reed and a Vandoren Optimum ligature.
The piano is Synthogy Ivory II. And the keyboard i'm playing is a Roland RD700NX.
The mic is the usual Shure KSM32 that i love so much. With a UA 610 and a Mohog MoFet76 compressor.
muy bueno!! felicitaciones from Chile!
