I get what your saying about why fans would want lucas. I mean he's turned into this one dimentional character and an asshole. but I think for BLers we want the lucas from season 2 & 3. Clearly he has changed and it's kinda good to know that when lucas was with brooke he was a better man. imo he actually had a personality when he was with brooke.
I know the disrespect he showed us in season 6 was rediculous but that just shows what type of man he is. His show sucked for a while now anyways.

Exactly, After the douche that is mark let lucas call seyton "pretty girl" the next episode went down to 2.2 million and stayed there for the rest of the season. I'm sure not all of the fans who stoped watching were brucas fans but the majority was. and lmao the season total ratings is a 2.8 and wasn't even up against american idol like season 3 was. OTH sucks!!!

I agree that it wasn't just the BL fans. I thought season 6 sucked and I don't really care either way for Brucas/Leyton. I just don't get why fans of either girl would want Lucas.
And I think that Mark spitting on the things that made Brucas was what pissed ppl off. If I was a BL fan, I would want them treated with respect even if they weren't gonna be together. That's where Mark went wrong. He decided to rewrite Brooke out of Lucas's past.
