I did this to my 1991 Trans Am. Very easy job... MUCH easier than removing the whole regulator, which is what the service manuals tell you to do. Good luck! Feel free to ask any questions!

No idea; I've never worked on one. I'm assuming it would be similar but don't take my word for it.

Later on down the road those bolts and nuts will walk out. This is why rivots are used.
