Mvua

"Mvua" is an Excerpt from the play Invisible Women Melting written By Jessica Ann Mitchell. It was honored as the Best 2009 Master's Thesis in The College of Arts & Sciences at Syracuse University.This play addresses Environmental Racism and economic injustice. Invisible Women Melting connects the ways in which Black women around the world are affected by the negative effects of Climate Change. The setting is Atlanta, GA and Imbaseni Village in the Maji ya Chai District of Tanzania. The play was presented for the first time, April 8-11th 2009 in Syracuse, NY.
