I remember seeing this trailer as a kid and seeing it as the most epic trailer I'd ever seen from Disney. It had a different look from other Disney movies, it involved a young woman ready to kick some ass à la Joan of Arc and it was a Disney trailer that actually took itself seriously.

@FantasmaLuna I totally agree with you. When I see this trailer I can feel all the power of the story and I remember when I was 16 in 1998 and I felt completely identified with Mulan's dilemma. A tennager, very intelligent, but not considered "suitable" for the chinese society of that age and with a great courage to took decisions and solve problems. The character of Mulan represents the true hero whom is in the heart of everyone who feels discouraged in front of the defies of life...

@Twilight639 There are many, many song that was composed and recorded for Disney's Mulan during the 5 years of production and that in the end it wasn't put on the film... But a new soundtrack much better than the CD of 1998 was released recently. Search for it if you like these songs. :)

Man as far as Disney trailers go, Mulan takes the cake hands down, I remember seeing this trailer for the first time, and it left me in absolute awe, it was just one of those silent "...Whoa... O.O " lol

@AMCTiger10 beleive it or not, the tail end of this trailer's music is actually the Dragonheart theme. Don't beleive me, look it up. ;)

when i was a kid i used to think these trailers were really long... but compared to todays this is like 5 seconds-STILL AN EPIC FILM :D
