Why did she need to be drunk even while performing. I am only asking because I was never a fan and the first time I ever heard her sing was after she died this past weekend. What a stunning voice. I cannot believe how beautiful. She probably never even had a voice lesson.

It is not boredom. It is existential ennui. Seriously. Look at her - she loathes the routine and the act she has to go through. She's absenting herself from the set.
It's a shame. A tragedy even. She was a gonner the moment she started: that was her genius.
