Stricnine / Heartbreaker "Led zeppelin" Cover live in bluesman club xativa 2009

Stricnine nace a principios del 2009 de la mano de tres músicos profesionales de bandas reconocidas: Paco (Parking fox / Southill) a la batería y voces,
José (Ex renegados) guitarra y voz solista, Álvaro (Southill) bajo y voces.

Formada como un power trio de blues rock, Stricnine abarca toda la esencia de las bandas y solistas del blues y el rock and roll de raíces, mezclándolo con el sonido potente de bandas inglesas como Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, The Who o Cream.

En directo, desgranan temas que van desde el Heartbreaker de Led Zeppelin hasta Born Under a Bad Sign de Albert King, pasando por clásicos como el Boom boom de John Lee Hooker, así como célebres canciones como el Superstition de Stevie Wonder o Brown Sugar de Rolling Stones.

Stricnine, como banda nueva, se está preparando para lanzar sin más dilación lo que será su primer y homónimo álbum, cuya producción y grabación corre a cargo de la propia banda en su estudio. El álbum incluirá tanto temas propios como una gran selección de covers de los artistas que influyeron y dieron forma a estos tres músicos.

Stricnine es una banda que no os podréis perder en directo y que no dejará indiferente a nadie, especialmente a todos aquellos que améis la música pura y verdadera que dio forma al rockn roll. Stricnine was formed by three well-known professional musicians within the Spanish rock and roll scene in the early 2009 - Paco (Parking fox / Southill) on drums and back vocals, José (Ex Renegados) guitar and lead vocals and Álvaro (Southill) on bass guitar and back vocals.

Conceived as a blues rock power trio, Stricnine covers the essence of blues figures and roots rock and roll bands mixing it up with the powerful sound of British rock bands such as Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, The Who or Cream.

During their shows, the songs they cover range from Led Zeppelins Heartbreaker to Albert Kings Born Under a Bad Sign passing through John Lee Hookers Boom Boom blues classic or famous songs from artists like Stevie Wonders Superstition or The Rolling Stones Brown Sugar.

Stricnine, as a new band, is preparing to release their homonymous debut album without delay. The album is being produced and recorded by the group in their own studios. It will include songs by the band as well as covers from artists who left an imprint on the formation of these three musicians.
