First upload of a series of audio collages, created between the Summer of 1998 and the Spring of 2000 at the New Music Studios--my place, then, at 11 Jew Street, Brighton, England. The animation was added later with a little help of the iTunes Visualiser.

Allen Racho's midi file of his exam piece came first via email from Manila. Some time later, after Emmanuel Williams' had read his poem, an errant reverb suggested a prayer of some kind -- fire and brimstone. What emerged after Chris Cockburn had laid down the drums tracks was a raging litany, probing at what lurks at the leading yet largely unseen edge of our materialist consumerist religion. --- DvN
