We have freedom of religion, and freedom of association, and as an atheist I think it's wrong for Christians to mock and degrade Scientology, and yes technically it's a cult, but Christianity was once a cult, so was Islam, so was Judaism, what I'm trying to figure out is, why all the hate, practice at home and not an anti-gay rally, because in the eyes of 23.5% of American's, you're all cults. From a gay atheist.

And if you really believe that we are at the "pinnacle of evolution" you really don't understand the concept of evolution very well. Being gay is just that; being gay. Nothing that extraordinary.

@cmdrkoenig67 creed pearson said it best in his ranting on here. hubbard was more than unethical i'd say just straight out insane, his whole anti-psychiatry crap was because he needed it. all forms of medical care had their dark side in the past; epileptics were often taken to exorcists due to thinking the person in a gran mal siezure was possessed and some died due to how exorcisms were performed.
