I hear stuff at this level in local jam sessions, usually from much younger players. Dierdre Cartwright's timing and phrasemaking are very poor, amateurish really. Judging from Rockschool, she was a fairly weak rock guitarist too. Anyway, she's a "jazz guitarist" like Pam Ayres is a "comedian", and like George Bush is a "politician", ... etc etc.

@lgu954k True. Well said

I really like how a "professional" musician can't spell the word "rhythm" correctly. Although I agree that some of the rhythms are a bit off, they're def. not playing in the same "mode" during their improv. They're actually following the changes quiet nicely. But I digress because you're comment shows how uneducated and ignorant you are, so I have no reason to point that out by myself.

Great job! I have a version of mine playing this tune in my videos if you'd like to check! You are good musicians.
This is grotesquely unfair. It is so depressing to see great music reduced to the level of destructive critiscism. Both Deirdre Cartwright and Kathy Dyson are guitarists with something innovative to say and with the technical skills to say it - I went to hear Cartwright at the Vortex last week and enjoyed an excellent gig. I guess hurling abuse is a lot easier than learning to be a great guitarist...
