@jcxstargazer I went to college down at Hocking in the early/mid 80s and would watch this engine run on the weekends down there. I think its sad they didnt restore it and keep it. Its not the same with the diesel they use now.

i grew up around this engine it used to belong to the hocking vally scenic railway in nelsonville ohio for over 10 years it set in a engine house waiting to be restored but never was until it was traded to the ohio central railway for a gp10 no 701 but man i never thought i would get to see it under its own steam again

The OC steam program was not included in the deal. The previous owner of the OC still owns the eqiupment. Word has it that he also still owns the Alco's too. There is something in the works for the future for the program as I have heard enough talk, just not sure as of yet myself.

As do I, Rogers are amazing locos. :) I think 152 is one of the only operating Rogers in North America, along with V&T #25 and Sierra #3.
