is it just me or is floor press more difficult than normal bench press?
-
thumbs up for those pants
-
@iron619 that's scary. how did you get your shoulder injury?
-
@iron619 keep lounging in those pants you wont be getting laid anytime soon

awesome I just tried these today for the first time and they felt great, I really felt them in my tris. What is the usual comparison between:
floor press to touch and go bench max and paused bench max?
Thanks.

how much can you bench press?

It's definitely changed since taking this video. My best raw bench was 405 lbs. Since then, I've had shoulder surgery and haven't been able to regain all of my strength. Right now, I'll be lucky to get 325 lbs.

What would be the benefit of bench pressing on the floor? Just curious?
I'm starting WS4SB and this is one of the workout options.

Yo! The main reason of bench pressing off the floor, or doing floor presses, is to get strong at starting strength from a pause and to also strengthen the triceps for locking-out on bench press. It is especially useful to a shirted/equipped bencher (one who wears a bench press shirt). Floor Presses are one of my favorite at stimulating the triceps.
WS4SB is a great program man, good luck and have fun with it.

320 on Floor Presses are pretty good man! For some reason, I find it easy to progress on this lift. How often do you practice this exercise?
