The humorous, provocative and moving examination of the Culture Wars and faith in America. Featuring interviews from all sides of the issues, the film is a balanced, challenging and entertaining foray into the most divisive and difficult topics in our culture. Includes interviews with Al Franken, Sen. Rick Santorum, Dr. Tony Campolo, Sister Mary Timothy, Michael Reagan, Ron Luce as well as rousing man-on-the-street interviews with director Dan Merchant dressed as Bumpersticker Man, a wild Culture Wars game show pits a Liberal Media Elite team against a team of Young Conservatives and a powerful "reverse Confession Booth" at a Gay Pride event provides unexpected emotion.

  • you know, I think I will go to Dragoncon next year dressed as bumpersticker GIRL! take a video camera with me, and interview people!

  • @gothgirl16 Hehehe, please do! :-)

  • This documentary is quite capatible with Deuteronomy 15:11. which says "For there will never cease to be poor in the land. Therefore I command you, ‘You shall open wide your hand to your brother, to the needy and to the poor.’

  • @CoastakaMichael Only shows how bad things truly are~

  • terriergal your comment is an example of how ignorant americans are about christianity.

  • I'm an atheist (no gods, no chance of gods, about as hardcore as it gets), but I love this documentary. It's very well done and very objective. I talked to Dan (the guy with the bumper sticker clothes), and he's a very nice fellow. I enjoy his style. The message of the documentary is awesome: we can be different and get along! No need to hate each other! :D

  • This film should be required viewing for everyone, no matter what their faith, or beliefs. Very moving.

  • @aSpoonfedTribe I wish more people had his outlook on things.

  • "Culture Wars" A term invented by dorks who don't like it when others disagree with them.

  • @gothgirl16 I was there this year. You posted that 11 months ago. Did you do that? I don't remember bumping into you, so I'm just wondering.

  • @K1060Bambi I understand what you are saying, and I agree, there is a change in a person when they meet Grace. I should have clarified the meaning of the biblical reference I used. Jesus said "He who is WITHOUT sin, cast the first stone" to me that means I am not qualified to judge. The people of God are not called to beat up people for sin and boycott everything like we do, but be salt and light to this world.

  • @CoastakaMichael yeah...as long as it's somebodyelse's hand that's open.just this last sunday,i saw"christians"dressed in their sunday finest,stepping over an old,sick,crippled homeless man,so they could walk into a $10,000,000,air-conditioned facility to"worship the lord,hallelujah!!!" makes me sick!!!!

  • Brilliant quotations at the start!

  • For the last 30 years it's felt like the self proclaimed evengelical Christians were slowly losing their minds...............after watching this documentary, I am extremely happy to find that they are not.

Great program............on that anyone, Christian or not, should be interested to watch.
