Thank god I just bought that cs 8000 and its got more steal in and on it than a sthil. All my echos run, sthil sucks. I know because im a landscaper and a tree worker by self employment. Respect echo!

just my opinion. i've used them all and seems the echo, husqvarna and the older stihl saws are best. now some craftsman and poulans are ok, which a craftsman is a poulan. i got a couple craftsmans and poulans and a good size Echo. cant remember the size tho

i have a echo cs 3600 (15years old) and husqy 137 (6years old) Both same cc and echo still starts up nicely and cuts nicely.

He was measuring the engine with an infrared pyrometer to make sure it was warmed up properly...

I own both a CS8000 and a Husky 385xp, in a 20 second cut the Husky might win by 1 second but it is 5cc bigger, bioth weigh the same. The CS8000 blows away my o44 Stihl, not even close.
