    I'm not sure, but about half of the ferrets I've owned had it.

  • How long did it take to become that bald?

  • It's hard to say. After his first surgery, he didn't grow fur back for a few months. He never grew all of it back, but he had decent coverage for a few months. Then he began losing more fur, and I opted for a second surgery. That gland was actually inside his vena cava, so they couldn't remove it. That was in March, and he went almost entirely bald since then.

    but he clearly loves you :3 nice to have that bond with a owner, people who cant respect animals will never understand how we care for our little flurry freinds

  • I'm so sorry for your loss i have a ferret right now who is adrenal and its getting pretty touch and go :(

  • @Boonie6669 You need to get them to a vet ASAP, adrenal deisease can be really bad if not treated.
