Part of the Jazz Talmud show @ the Cell Theater on 09/13/2010.
Two poems "Mishnah of Loneliness" and "Mishnah of Silence" pay tribute to the Talmudic rhetoric & turn of phrase while the two musicians - Frank London & Greg Wall - act as the two Talmudic interpreters - Rashi & Tosefot, arguing over the text. Ayn Sof Arkestra joins in as "acharonim" - later commentators. Poetry by Jake Marmer, music composed by Frank London.

  • I really do think we're entering The Year of Jake Marmer's Awkard Aesthetics. And rearranging bamboo furniture contingent upon news bulletins. A mere 258 views is injustice that should be pursued!
