Epcot IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth Fireworks Show - Walt Disney World

I have been to Epcot quite a few times and have never stayed late enough to see this show but this time I made it a point to see it and I'm glad I did. Having never seen it before I didn't know the best spot to sit but had heard you can see it from anywhere around the lake. We chose this spot and it turned out to be pretty good. For filming in the dark like this the video actually came out better than I thought it would. Except for a couple blurry moments and the illumination on the floating Earth Globe not showing to well on video the show was fantastic. Much better in person of course! Filmed on February 23, 2011

The Story of llumiNations

IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth at Epcot tells the story of our planet in 3 unforgettable acts.

•Act 1: Chaos — Bear witness to the explosion at the dawn of time that brings about the creation of Earth, where you are invited to observe the Inferno Barge, a liquid-propane mechanism launching balls of fire 60 feet into the air.
•Act 2: Order — Behold the glowing Earth Globe as it glides peacefully to the center of the lagoon, illuminated with—and celebrating—the famous faces and achievements of our time.
•Act 3: Meaning — During this final act, the Earth Globe blossoms to reveal a torch and the glow of a thousand fireworks and laserlights that fill the night sky in a shimmering kaleidoscope of color and sound, propelling us into the future.

i haven't been there over 7 yrs miss this show i always watch the video of the fireworks then time the music with it the real music and turn it up and watch it on full screen imaging that im there soo wonderful watching this!

fireworks were ok..but the illusions were cool intertainment! can only think of what they are doing with the bluebeam! people seeing the holy mary! BLUEBEAM. cross's in the sky! BLUEBEAM. carefull what you believe out there

@seahue Same for me, I have been to Epcot three times before but were only there during the day and have never seen the fireworks show before. I really didn't know what to expect but heard it was a great show. I have never filmed anything at night before either so I didn't know what to expect or how it would come out. I wish the video that was being played on the globe would of come out better though and that the people around me weren't talking so much.. All in all it was a great show :-)
