I looove this movie! And especially Jim Caviezel!! He suits Monte Cristo much more than Deparde.Coz IN BOOK EDMOND IS TALL,HANDSOME,FIT AND WHITE-SKINNED ( EVEN THEY CALL HIM A VAMPIRE) I'VE READ THIS BOOK 2 YEARS AGO AND DURING TODAY IT'S MY FAVORITE BOOK!!! BUT, I prefer book. Because 1) WHERE IS HAYDE? - one of my favorite character 2) IN BOOK REVANGE IS MUCH BETTER, HE DOESN'T FORGIVE MERCEDES 3) IN BOOK ALBER IS FERNAN'S SON , SO MERCEDES BETRAYS EDMOND .

@GreatGranpapy yes there is same plot but they change the store up but in all i am so inlove with it i just finsh the anime but it was so good i wanna watch again so good that i am looking at this movie lol
