@CyberRiddler Yes, and in that case its a clear case of a rape. Incest is much more dubious, someone might have been fucked with (figuratively or literary) their whole life and because of this, think incestual sex without consent with her/his sibling is normal. Its also very hard to set a decide the "legal age", when it comes to incest, if it would be permitted.
@johnchapterseventeen i have a riddle for you. "what do you call some one who agrees, then disagrees? who accepts, then denies? who is open minded, then close minded? some one with positivity to some, but negativity to others? sayinsomething is okay, then saying it isn't?" what is the answer to this riddle.
@GormBerserker same goes for homosexuality. one day, two guys are hitting it off, the next day, one is brutally raping the other, leaving him scarred and traumatized.
Incest is a bit different than homosexuality. Incest is an act. If you deny homosexuals to have sex, you deny them any sexual expression. If you deny someone having sex with the sister he is in love with, he will still be able to find love and sexual fulfillment with other girls. In other words, there is no such thing as an incestual, and therefore it is different.
Another thing is that there will always be the possibility of abuse of trust and power with incest, even between grown up persons.
you've actually got a very interesting point. The number one defense gay people use is "you can't help who you love" or "who are you to judge the love of two consenting adults?"... yet they often draw the line at incest. It's hypocrisy, they are judging the love of consenting adults, they are putting limitations on their own fundamental arguement. I asked a gay man once and he conceded that by his standard it woyld be ok so long as they didn't procreate.
you're mistaken. what they support is the person. what that person decides to do in the privacy of their home is nobodies business, and it's definitely not something that needs the support of anyone. and i have no problem w/ polygamist. humans are capable of loving more than one person so a monogamous relationship is just as natural as a polygamous one. if you disagree, then have you ever been attracted to another girl that is not your current girlfriend?
