@f3l18ipsk8ermm ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? Slash is wide known for NOT playing solos the same as in his album. Check out the Use Your Illusion Tour, the biggest one GNR ever had. At every concert he had a different solo for all songs except Sweet Child O' Mine, Don't Cry and November Rain. I DARE you find me those videos where he plays note for note.

To everyone arguing for slash: When slash plays live he often plays his solos note for note. Anyone that isn't a half ass lame guitar player improvises on stage! watch videos of hendrix, beck, and clapton....THEY SOUND BETTER LIVE THAN ON THE RECORDING! that's hard to do! The day that slash has a solo that sounds better live is the day hell freezes over

@TheRandomnessofAandP look all i stated was an opinion, and that's all your doing. In my opinion Slash is a boring rock guitarist that sounds and plays like any other rock guitarist out there... hes good but when i talk about who the best guitarists in the world are i think of people like Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, and Jeff Beck, people that stand out from the crowd and have a style that's all their own. Now that is just an opinion but its backed by Rolling Stone so that's my stand point.

@devinparham Slash is an awesome guitarist. his solos are very clean and well put together, and he has awesome chemistry on stage. what more could you ask for in a lead guitarist for a rock band?
