@Harrysound hi yeh i did buy one i was a bit hesitant at first due to some people saying it doesn't do much it transformed my read speeds going from about 200 to 390 my writes improved by about 40mbs but i am really pleased with it for the cost. i hear if you oc the pcie lane to about 105 you get about 5-10% better performance so might try that.

@P0HLY i'd like to know if you bought this card and if it made alot of difference im thinking of getting a force 3 240 gig. I only have an i7 board with sata 2 so????

hi mate nice unboxing any chance you can do a quick benchmark with an ssd connected to it? debating weather or not to get it to go with my corsair force 3 (using it on a sata 2 motherboard at the min)
thanks :)

i need this, can't find it on ebay (worldwide), where to buy it ?

@werecow2003 It turns out that I had them plugged into the wrong PCI-e slot; mij GPU was occupying the PCI-e 3.0 16x slot, which left only two other slots available for use. Moving my GPU into a PCI-e 2.0 16x slot and moving the asrock cards to other slots fixed the problem.

asrock sata3 card is slower then intel sata2.
o boght thet crap, and it makes my ssd much slower then intel sata 2.

I bought two of these cards recently, but unfortunately they don't seem to be detected by the motherboard at all... The irony being that my new mainboard is one of asrock's top-of-the-line boards. It may have to do with either AHCI or the PCIe 2.0 16x slots I currently have them in, but it's hard to tell since my only PCIe 1x slot is not reachable because of my video card. I also had to unscrew one of the screws for the backplate because it didn't fit. }|:o/

can you post some benchmarks with this card?
I was thinking about getting something like this for my evga MB that only has SATA II. I wonder if it will work with it. Have you installed this yet? Have you had any issues?

@oconano It's really easy to install surprisingly, plug it in to your motherboard, plug in some harddrives and it is immediately detected in your BIOS as "being able to be booted from" The PC I had installed this into was an oldschool Celeron Board with SATA1 and it gave me very nice Sata3 speeds once I got some drives in it; definatly recommended for its price as well rather than buying a new motherboard.
