  • I started e-mailing DC. I've had it with this crap. I don't recognize my country anymore. Obama can stick his change where the sun don't shine.

  • Man, this guy has no idea what left is. he is so politically retarded that it would be funny if he didn't have such a large audience--but that in itself is scary. Eveer try reading his awful books? I do at the bookshop, because I won't pay for them, and they are laughable.

  • yea i wonder were those 4 million jobs are

  • I remember his campaign stopped because of the economy, you're right. I don't remember the verbal acceptance, but y'know what? I'll accept it, too. However, I'd like to bring your attention to the idea some Dems said I while back that they were pressured into supporting the Iraq war. Whether or not that's true isn't what matters: McCain is similarly entitled to that defence, especially over something much more trivial than a war (not that many lives are at stake. Lifestyles, maybe.)

  • McCain verbally supported it. He even halted his campaign to fix the economy. Bush signed that bill BEFORE the election and more than 3 months before he was out of office.

From what i remember O'Reilly supported Bush's bailout. But then again O'Reilly is just a republican.

  • One of the multiple bailouts was supported by a lame-duck president whose approval ratings were in the floor and whose party was clearly not going to win the presidential election the way things were going. As a matter of fact, he was probably to not look obstructionist. Within a couple of months, Obama would have let the bill go through whether or not Bush vetoed, so by not fighting it, he looked less like a fool.

But I don't know where you got your McCain info...

  • Yerah and it was proposed and signed into law by Bush, and his fellow republican McCain.

Say what you want about how fiscally liberal our politicians may be. But we have never had a socially liberal president. All we have are these religious retards.

  • Hahaha, this coming from Bill who was pushing hard for Bush's bailout.

  • Great response. California was a great example. I am sick and tired of the UN EDUCATED LIBERAL NAZI's making a comment on an issue they have no facts about. Just proves their ideology. But that is ok, we know who the real fighters and men are in this country.

  • Why do you keep assuming conservatives are religious? I am not religious. That kind of comment just proves what an educated sheep you're that regurgitates rachel maddow talk.

  • And I'm sure it was Congress's idea. But because it'd be a frickin' waste of time to argue chicken and egg stuff for the both of us, let's think about just how many bailouts were passed with a liberal Congress and a liberal president. Lots of TARP, omnibus, etc. So, I mean, I mean, the policy was taken to its max by the liberal administration. After the freefall of the market, even the braindead Barney Frank must have realized this wasn't working.
