@uscgswimmer1 Is there a difference? I live out of my backpack and travel all over the world, so I move a lot. :)

@uscgswimmer1 Where I sleep really depends on where I'm traveling. In developing countries, a hotel room can be as cheap as $2/night. Otherwise, I try to stay with friends or friends of friends. Traveling isn't my job (I do web programming and writing for that). Traveling is my lifestyle. :)

@crucialdudechris I love it! :) I see myself keeping this bag for a long, long time.

@xtrafranky 32L. I changed bags a few months ago... I'm now using a 25L GORUCK GR1 bag. :) I need to post a new packing video; I've got even less stuff now.

@sketch2k7 Essentials? Your passport and money. That's about all you _really_ need. :) But beyond that, I'd say bring whatever you feel is necessary. If you're not sure, try going on a weekend trip somewhere and pack only what you consider the bare essentials. Whatever you don't use, leave it at home. Whatever you realize you wish you brought, bring it.

Maybe France, Italy, Austria, Germany, Norway then back to Scotland but do you have any advice for what to expect or things I should have with me at all times? Like essentials. Thanks
