I've been living out this 32L backpack for the past year or so. The contents changes from time to time, but for the most part what you see is what I bring everywhere I move.

  • @uscgswimmer1 Is there a difference? I live out of my backpack and travel all over the world, so I move a lot. :)

  • @uscgswimmer1 Where I sleep really depends on where I'm traveling. In developing countries, a hotel room can be as cheap as $2/night. Otherwise, I try to stay with friends or friends of friends. Traveling isn't my job (I do web programming and writing for that). Traveling is my lifestyle. :)

  • @crucialdudechris I love it! :) I see myself keeping this bag for a long, long time.

  • @raamdev how amazing is the GR1! just got mine a couple days ago.

  • @xtrafranky 32L. I changed bags a few months ago... I'm now using a 25L GORUCK GR1 bag. :) I need to post a new packing video; I've got even less stuff now.

  • I´ve gut way too much stuff!

  • @raamdev Thanks, by the way what size is it?

  • @xtrafranky Sea to Summit

  • @sketch2k7 Essentials? Your passport and money. That's about all you _really_ need. :) But beyond that, I'd say bring whatever you feel is necessary. If you're not sure, try going on a weekend trip somewhere and pack only what you consider the bare essentials. Whatever you don't use, leave it at home. Whatever you realize you wish you brought, bring it.

  • Hey not bad video. I'm thinking about back packing around Europe (for the first time) prob by myself. I'm 22 and got a few months off so thinking this summer. Maybe France, Italy, Austria, Germany, Norway then back to Scotland but do you have any advice for what to expect or things I should have with me at all times? Like essentials. Thanks
