Limotube
Size: Nine
Planet Impact: Armageddon
I'm just gonna tell you up front that C Dub =/= cat person. That's why the cuteness factor involved with this planet and its citezens do not make up for the fact that this planet is a pain in the ass to use. Limotube's gravity scheme is set so that it seems like the Meteos are jumping up and down. That wouldn't be so troublesome if the level were smaller, but it isn't. Limotube's redeeming features are its planet impact and the fact that burnt Meteos take a bit of time to turn back to normal. Aside from that, I don't really care for this planet. Seriously, what is it about people and cats?

Jeljel
Size: Nine
Planet Impact: Sentinel
I know that some of you will say that Jeljel's BGM doesn't really fit with the type of planet it is; a very lonely planet covered with liquid-hot mag-ma. But I kinda think that it does fit since I picture the viscosity of that magma and how gooey it can be (though I'd never wanna touch it...ouch). Meteos that are launched on Jeljel are reminiscent of what it'd look like if a gooey substance were to slide on a wall. It slowly rises and slowly falls. They changed how Jeljel's gravity affects vertical launches from the DS version as they used to not go very high. All in all, I think Jeljel's a decent planet, but it would easily fall prey to a Sentinel planet impact. =/

Luna=Luna
Size: Nine
Planet Impact: Armageddon
Now this is a very peaceful planet with some peaceful BGM and sound effects. As you could probably tell from it's title, the gravity scheme on Luna=Luna is what it'd be like for people to walk and jump on the moon. Everything moves VERY slowly and garbage Meteos from your opponent's side weighs things down easily. The good thing though is that if you have a high enough combo, you can hold down the speeder and keep raining down Meteos which will be automatically transferred to your opponent. For that reason, Luna=Luna is an awesome planet. Again, it could easily fall prey to a Sentinel planet impact though, so be careful.

  • It almost looks like they changed Luna=Luna from the DS game, which is a good thing. Ugh, I loathe Luna=Luna.

  • and the trick u mean with Luna=Luna i use that for Brabbit

  • Hell Yeah JelJel was better with the horror themed music. the screaming girl made it so awesome

  • And I thought Hanihula was overly whimsical -_- . Actually, Limotube looks like it would do much better with a touch-screen interface. It also looks like too much like victim material.

I like Jeljel's new music; the original was rather nondescriptive. Good to see it plays a bit better as well.

I miss Luna=Luna's scratch music...like Hevendor, the peaceful theme works, but it's not as identity-setting. Also, I thought both moons were supposed to revolve around each other, not just one.

  • Yay more Meteos vids! :D

    I like Limotube's music.

JelJel was better with the DS horror-themed sounds, I think, though.

  • I loved Luna=Luna, its so beautiful and peaceful.
