A look at my N-Scale layout modeled in the Westcliffe-Rosita CO area. Time period is the mid-60's. We own a second home in the area so that was the inspiration. This 2' by 4' layout runs smaller freights up and down the Wet Mountain Valley with the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range as the backdrop,
There is also a lunch-dinner excursion train, the Wet Mountain Limited, which I'll feature in another video.
Main industries served are the Morgan Silver Mine and Matty's Freight Co. which are named after my grand-kids.
The basic layout came from Model Railroads by Chris. I did all the scenic work myself. Caboose Hobbies and Fifer Hobbies are my two main suppliers.
This video is a bit of an experiment with my new Sony HD Camera and editing with iMovie although I plan to purchase Final Cut Express.
I'll be adding a 4' by 8' addition over the next year.
quality is wonderful. editing fantastic . I feel like I am right there.!

A very nice small layout. Thank you for sharing. If you are modeling the mid 60s, then your Mattys' Freight sign is too modern.

Thanks, you're correct about the sign. Likely will replace it.
